The people of Vilvoorde were invited to submit their best photos of the city.
From hundreds of entries, 50 photographs were selected to be animated.
Framed, the software that has undergone more evolutions than your average Pokémon, evolved once again into a version that Niels Beaufays could use to bring every selected photo to life.
All of the animated photos, together with the results of workshops with the kids from the Art Academy, were projected onto an 80-metre-high canvas.
The software is highly optimized for fast, hassle-free frame-by-frame drawing. Less work, more play!
People of Vilvoorde and beyond could enjoy the animated pictures every evening for one week.
Some say it’s the largest display in Belgium… 👀

A unique canvas like this requires extra pre-visualization to ensure the final design works as intended.
Definitely not the last iteration of the drawing software. Stay tuned.
